Facilities:

Set in a tranquil garden setting our modern, light and airy facility has been built with a focus on healthy living and environmentally responsible practices. Only natural cleaning products are used to reduce harmful chemicals in the environment and waste is recycled or composted. Facilities at Sue Pryor Swimming include:


  • Indoor 6m x 12.5m heated pool (30c summer, 33c winter) – solar panels supplement gas heating. The pool gradually deepens from 1-1.8m, with a ledge along one side for skill and diving teaching. The pool also features non-slip surfaces and safe entry steps.
  • 2 aerobic waste treatment system toilets (one with access for disabled)
  • Rinse-off shower
  • Private change cubicles
  • Baby change tables
  • Excellent poolside viewing area
  • Children’s play area
  • Tea, Coffee and hot chocolate machine
  • On-site Swim centre office
  • Wheelchair access and lifter for disabled pool entry
