Training Courses


Training courses for current and trainee teachers, are run periodically at Sue Pryor Swimming, including:

Swim Australia Teacher Courses

  •  Competitive Swimming Course (CSC) – basic Coaching
  • Babies and Toddlers (B&T) – this is a stand alone course designed for teaching under 5’s
  • General Teacher of swimming and water safety
  • Learners with Disabilities (LWD)

All SAT courses are done in 2 stages - theory by CD Rom at home before the day of practical (this allows the opportunity to test the theory in the pool).

Sue has successfully conducted several SAT courses in Strathalbyn, Broken Hill and Starplex.

Sue Pryor Swimming also offers further training in the SPS Method for those interested in becoming part of our teaching team. Opportunities for training in specific teaching topics are also offered periodically.

Sue recently successfully conducted an SAT (Swim Australia Teacher) accreditation course and JSAC (Junior Squad and Assistant Coach) course.
